Knowledge, attitudes and practices toward human papillomavirus infection among undergraduate pharmacy students in Saudi Arabia

Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV) is one of the most widespread viral infections that affect reproductive tract. The aim this study to assess knowledge, attitude, and practice toward HPV amongst pharmacy students in Saudi Arabia. Methods: A cross-sectional prospective online survey-based was conducted all second year final enrolled programme. Results: Female exhibited better awareness knowledge (87.2%) compared male (12.8%). majority respondents (92.8%) had heard about risk cervical cancer, with fewer vaccine (35.0%). There high ratification vaccines help preventing cancer (64.80%), which a good response. Conclusion: showed an average regarding infection vaccination. Considerable targeted initiatives related offered curriculum should be planned executed equip future pharmacists proper soft skills perform their effective role prevention infection.
